About Us
Established by appointment of the St. Francois County Commission in November 2011, with official bylaws in place, the board achieved 501 (c) (3) status in 2015 with a mission, vision statement, goals, and elected officers.

In June 2013, a CIT Coordinating Council was formed and began work on CIT officer training for the county.

In November of 2024 the SFCMHB began collaborating with local youth coalitions in each of the five school districts.

February 2025, the SFCMHB was accepted as a registered Suicide Prevention Coalition with MSPN. We were also accepted as part of the 3d Cohort for the Community Led Suicide Prevention Coalition Academy
